The intrinsically safe M103 is ATEX and IECEx approved for use in explosive gas, vapour, dust, and mining environments. It is designed for industrial applications where a short-bodied sensor is required for hazardous area operation.

The compact sensor provides a linear output proportional to displacement and is calibrated to customer travel ranges from 0–2 mm to 0–50 mm with integrated EMC protection.

The rugged stainless steel body and plunger ensure durability and stable performance across a wide temperature range.

Mounting options include flange or body clamps, with plunger configurations such as free, captive with M4 thread, or spring-loaded with ball end.

The M103 operates with Positek X005 galvanically isolated amplifiers supporting 0.5–9.5V or 4–20mA outputs, with IP65/IP67 sealing and cable lengths up to 1 km.
