The intrinsically safe H118 is CSA approved for use in explosive gas, vapour, and dust environments. It is designed for industrial applications requiring a compact short-bodied sensor for hazardous areas.

The sensor provides a linear output proportional to displacement and is calibrated to travel ranges from 0–2 mm to 0–50 mm with integrated EMC protection.

The stainless steel body and plunger support flange or body clamp mounting with plunger options including free or captive, female M4 thread, or spring-loaded ball end.

The H118 operates with Positek G005 galvanically isolated amplifiers supporting 0.5–9.5V or 4–20mA outputs, with IP67 sealing and cable lengths up to 1 km.
