The intrinsically safe G100 is CSA approved for use in explosive gas and vapour environments. It is designed for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder position feedback applications requiring durability, environmental resistance, and reliable performance in hazardous areas.

The compact sensor provides a linear output proportional to displacement and is calibrated to customer-specified travel ranges from 0–5 mm up to 0–800 mm, with built-in EMC protection.

Performance, repeatability, and stability are maintained across a wide operating temperature range, with responsive measurement along almost the entire sensor length.

The sensor features a rugged stainless steel body with a fluoropolymer-sheathed probe and stainless steel target tube, with IP65 or IP67 environmental sealing depending on configuration.

The G100 operates with galvanically isolated amplifiers such as the Positek G005, supporting 0.5–9.5V or 4–20mA outputs and cable lengths up to 1 km between the sensor and amplifier.
