The MR340-1 DIN Rail Mount Controller provides the active optical and electrical interface for the MR340 Series ZapFREE fiber optic incremental encoder system.

This all-optical design is immune to electromagnetic interference including magnetic fields, lightning, and voltage disturbances.

As the incremental code passes through the MR34X sensor optical pickup, the controller generates standard A/B quadrature signals.

The controller tracks position and calculates RPM and speed of the connected encoder.

Outputs are available via RS485 Modbus RTU, USB, SSI, or configurable analog output of ±10V or 4–20mA.
