The intrinsically safe M500 rotary position sensor is ATEX and IECEx approved for use in hazardous gas, vapour, dust, and mining environments. It is designed for industrial and scientific feedback applications requiring reliable performance in hazardous areas.

The sensor is calibrated to a customer-specified rotation angle between 16° and 160° and provides a linear output proportional to the angle of rotation.

A machined registration mark identifies the calibrated midpoint.

The rugged stainless steel body supports shaft, flange, or servo mounting and provides IP67 environmental protection with integrated EMC shielding.

The sensor operates with galvanically isolated amplifiers such as the Positek X005 supporting 0.5–9.5V or 4–20mA outputs.
