The intrinsically safe X115 is a heavy-duty ATEX and IECEx approved version of the X114 position sensor, featuring a stronger 12.6 mm push rod for applications with vibration or long travel requirements. It is designed for accurate displacement measurement with IP68 sealing up to 10 bar.

The sensor provides a linear output proportional to displacement and is calibrated to a travel range from 0–5 mm to 0–800 mm, with full EMC protection included.

A rugged stainless steel body and push rod provide long service life and environmental resistance.

Installation options include stainless steel M8 rod eye bearings and body clamps, with free or captive push rod configurations available.

The X115 operates with galvanically isolated amplifiers such as the Positek X005, supporting 0.5–9.5V or 4–20mA outputs with cable runs up to 1 km.
