The intrinsically safe X106 is ATEX and IECEx approved for use in explosive gas and vapour environments.

It is designed for demanding hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder position feedback applications where durability, environmental resistance, and long service life are critical.

The compact sensor provides a linear output proportional to displacement and is calibrated to travel ranges from 0–5 mm to 0–800 mm with integrated EMC protection.

The rugged design features a stainless steel body, fluoropolymer-sheathed probe, and stainless steel target tube with IP65 or IP67 environmental sealing.

The X106 operates with galvanically isolated amplifiers such as the Positek X005, supporting 0.5–9.5V or 4–20mA outputs and cable lengths up to 1 km.
