The intrinsically safe X103 linear position sensor is ATEX and IECEx approved for use in hazardous gas and vapour environments. It features a compact short-body design for industrial applications requiring reliable sensing in hazardous areas.

The sensor provides a linear output proportional to displacement and is calibrated to measurement ranges from 0–2 mm to 0–50 mm with integrated EMC protection.

A rugged stainless steel body and plunger ensure durability and stable performance across a wide temperature range.

Mounting options include flange or body clamps with plunger configurations available as free or captive with M4 female thread or spring-loaded ball end.

The sensor supports IP65 or IP67 sealing and operates with galvanically isolated amplifiers such as the Positek X005 supporting 0.5–9.5V or 4–20mA outputs.
