The intrinsically safe M115 is a heavy-duty ATEX and IECEx approved version of the M114 position sensor, featuring a stronger 12.6 mm push rod for applications with vibration or long travel requirements. It is designed for reliable, high-accuracy displacement measurement in demanding environments requiring IP68 sealing up to 10 bar.

The sensor provides a linear output proportional to displacement and is calibrated to the customer’s required travel range from 0–5 mm to 0–800 mm, with full EMC protection included.

A rugged stainless steel body and push rod provide long service life and strong environmental resistance.

Installation is simplified with mounting options including stainless steel M8 rod eye bearings and body clamps, with free or captive push rod configurations available.

The M115 operates with galvanically isolated amplifiers such as the Positek X005, supporting 0.5–9.5V or 4–20mA outputs with cable lengths up to 1 km.
