The intrinsically safe M112 is ATEX and IECEx approved for use in explosive gas, vapour, dust, and mining environments.

It is designed for gauge head positioning in industrial and scientific applications and provides a linear output proportional to displacement.

The sensor is calibrated to customer-specified travel ranges from 0–5 mm to 0–50 mm and includes integrated EMC protection.

A rugged stainless steel body and plunger ensure durability, with a spring-loaded domed plunger and a ½-inch UNF mounting thread for easy installation. Environmental protection is rated to IP67.

The M112 operates with galvanically isolated amplifiers such as the Positek X005, supporting 0.5–9.5V or 4–20mA outputs and cable lengths up to 1 km.
